Jack and Betty's wedding is coming soon, and it appears that choosing the right dress won't be your only problem.

"Daisy suspects that someone's trying to sabotage the wedding, and you need to find out who and why."

Solution[]

Daisy Duffing: Detective! Quick, I have an assignment for you!

Detective: I don't have time, Daisy. I'm getting ready for Jack and Betty's wedding. I need to pick up my girlfriend in an hour!

Daisy Duffing: But I'm calling you about the wedding! There's something bad going to happen!

Detective: Like what?

Daisy Duffing: Like someone planning to sabotage the weedding! Come on, let's go!

Detective: *sigh* I'll call Lucy and tell her to meet me at the wedding.

Detective: I don't have time, Daisy. I'm getting ready for Jack and Betty's wedding. My boyfriend is picking me up in an hour!

Daisy Duffing: But I'm calling you about the wedding! There's something bad going to happen!

Detective: Like what?

Daisy Duffing: Like someone planning to sabotage the weedding! Come on, let's go!

Detective: *sigh* I'll call Leo and tell him to meet me at the wedding.

Witnesses[]

Detective: OK, detective. So you're telling me someone's trying to sabotage the wedding. Do you have any proof?

Daisy Duffing: Of course! Just follow me. I'll show you!

  • 4 fingerprints
  • 4 maps
  • Thief: 3 knuckles
  • 3 fingerprints
  • 4 photos
  • 5 maps
  • Thief: 3 knuckles
  • 3 fingerprints
  • 4 photos

If you fail:

Detective: So? Where's the proof?

Daisy Duffing: Well, I... I had a dream that something bad could happen and...

Detective: Riiiight...

If you win:

Detective: Hmmm... I talked with some of the guests and it appears that some stranger tried to gather information about the ceremony.

Daisy Duffing: I knew it! There's little time left. We need to reach the ceremony and save Jack and Betty!

Crime scene search: Roaring Revelry[]

Detective: Come on, Daisy. We're here.

Daisy Duffing: Great! Let's check out the site of the ceremony!

When you enter north of riverboat:

Daisy Duffing: So, when are you going to marry Lucy? I heard she's a tough police officer! Detective: Yeah, she is. But we aren't even engaged, yet. We're just dating.

Daisy Duffing: So, when are you going to marry Leo? I heard he's a big gangster! Detective: Where did you hear that? We aren't even engaged, yet. We're just dating.

When you enter the room east of pier:

Daisy Duffing: So, you need to get engaged? Just buy her a nice diamond ring! Detective: Buy her a ring? What happened to the "be meant for each other" thing?

Daisy Duffing: So, when are you getting engaged? Did you tell him which diamond ring you want? Detective: It's all about the ring, is it? What happened to the "be meant for each other" thing?

Daisy Duffing: Come on, diamonds are a girl's best friend!

Detective : You're watching too many movies, kid!

When you enter the room south of dance floor:

Daisy Duffing: You know, Jack bought Betty a cool engagement ring! Maybe you could get Lucy the same! Detective: Yeah, I'll just ask my friend Leo to get me one.

Daisy Duffing: You know, Jack bought Betty a cool engagement ring! I'll tell Leo to get you the same! Detective: Oh, Leo will just love that idea. That ring brings out a lot of "great" memories.

When you enter the garden:

Daisy Duffing: This place is sooo awesome. Will you host your wedding here?

Detective: A bit too quiet. I don't think Lucy would be comfortable without an explosion, or at least a drive-by shooting at her wedding.

Detective: With Leo's career, State Penitentiary is more probable.

When you enter the outside, south of kitchen:

Detective: Leo, what are you doing here? You're trying to steal the wedding gifts, aren't you?

Leonardo McLean: Of course not! I got here a bit late, and wanted to add my present to the stack. I grabbed yours as well from the table!

Detective: What do you mean, "yours"? Lucy has our wedding gift!

Leonardo McLean: What was the gift wrapped at your table, then?

Detective: Honey, what are you doing here? You're not trying to steal the wedding gifts, are you?

Leonardo McLean: Of course not! I just wanted to add our gift to the stack! You left it at the table!

Detective: What do you mean, our gift? I have it right here!

Leonardo McLean: What was gift wrapped at our table, then?

If you fail:

Detective: There's nothing here, Daisy. Let's get ready for the ceremony. There's going to be cake.

Daisy Duffing: But, but... Wait, did you say cake? Lead on!

If you win:

Detective: A bomb! Stand back, I know what to do. Which wire, what do you think? Wait... ok. Disarmed.

Leonardo McLean: It was a close one! But what does it mean? Maybe Malone got wind that I'm spying on him...

Leonardo McLean: I'm so glad nothing happened to you! But what does it mean? Maybe Malone got wind that I'm spying on him...

Detective: I don't think so. Neither you, nor Jack and Betty were the target. The bomb was intended for me, all along!

City search: Catastrophic Catering[]

Lucy Gordon: Honey, what did I hear from Daisy? You disarmed a bomb at the wedding ceremony?

Detective: Uhm... yeah.

Lucy Gordon: And that bomb was meant for you?

Detective: Uhm... maybe.

Lucy Gordon: I was waiting at you by the table and worrying myself sick. You're the most irresponsible, yet daring man I've ever met!

Detective: That's why we're dating, aren't we? Now let's find out who planted the bomb in the first place.

Lucy Gordon: Leo asked me to look after you. He told me that you disarmed a bomb at the wedding ceremony.

Detective: Uhm... yeah.

Lucy Gordon: And that bomb was meant for you?

Detective: Uhm... maybe.

Lucy Gordon: Wow. And I always thought Leo was the reckless one!

Detective: Yeah, me too. Now let's find out who planted the bomb in the first place.

Lucy Gordon: I saw a catering truck leaving not long before your arrival. We should track down the catering company!

The catering company is:

  • exactly 4 from a fast food
  • exactly 6 from a hotel
  • exactly 2 from a farm
  • not 4 from pubs
  • not 3 from bus stations
  • not more than 1 from parks
  • not 9 from police stations
  • On the map there are 2 fast foods
  • On the map there are 6 farms

Solution: (6,4)

If you fail:

Detective: It's a dead end. The catering truck was probably a rental with fake decals.

If you win:

Detective: This looks like the place. Excuse me, do you cater to weddings?

Betty Sue: No, not really. But recently a foreign-speaking client rented our truck. For a wedding, I think.

Suspect identification: Best (Hit) Man[]

Detective: I just need to identify that client of yours. Can you describe them?

Betty Sue: I'll do my best.

Solution: Ivan Mogilevich

If you fail:

Detective: It was probably some random thug. He probably didn't even know the wedding gift was a bomb.

If you win:

Detective: Well I'll be...

Lucy Gordon: That's the assassin hired by Marrion Naples to kill her husband! Why does he want to kill you?

Detective: Probably because of the Bravucci case. I must've stepped on someone's toes.

Lucy Gordon: Are you kidding me? All because of that old case? Look numskull, I can't afford to lose you! Detective: I know, honey. I know. But it's too late to pull back from this one. I need to piece the puzzles together and find the person behind Mogilevich.

Lucy Gordon: All because of that old case? I'll bet you kept it all secret from Leo. He'd be worried sick! Detective : He's got enough trouble on his hands, infiltrating Malone's organization. I need to piece the puzzles together and find the person behind Mogilevich without him.

Finale[]

If you fail:

Daisy Duffing: So? Did you get to the bottom [sic]if it? Did you catch the person trying to sabotage the wedding?

Detective: Not really, Daisy. But at least the reception was a blast!

If you win:

Betty Mayday: Too bad you missed the reception, detective. But we saved you a piece of cake... and a paycheck for saving our wedding!

Detective: Thanks, Betty. That's really nice of you! And I must add, the wedding was fantastic!

Betty Mayday: Oh, I can definitely recommend our wedding planner! Say, Lucy would like a jazz band for your wedding, or is she more of a rock'n'roll type?

Betty Mayday: Oh, I can definitely recommend our wedding planner! Say, Leo would like a jazz band for your wedding, or is he more of a rock'n'roll type?
