The sugar ban takes a surprising toll on organic farmers.
"Lucy Gordon asked me to play sheriff and help out farmers who were harassed by a bunch of hustlers."
Solution[]
Lucy Gordon: Hi there, detective, I've got a case for you. My cousin, Sarah, is a farmer from Greenmill. Since the introduction of the sugar ban, her business flourished, but now, she has a problem.
Lucy Gordon: Some thugs appeared in Greenmill. They are trying to coerce farmers into selling land for a ridiculous price. Normally, I would handle it myself, but it's outside my jurisdiction.
Detective: Just like in the westerns, huh? Well, just give me my sheriff's badge, because they're in for a nasty surprise.
Witnesses[]
Detective: I'm a city slicker, so I better get some info on Greenmill and the farming business that happens there.

If you fail:
Detective: I'm not sure I'm the person for the job. Lucy might be disappointed, but I'm too much of a city dweller to handle this case right.
If you win:
Detective: Looks like the demand for health foods skyrocketed after the sugar ban was introduced. No wonder someone's trying to lay his hands on the farmland.
City search: Aggresive Uprooting[]
Detective: All right. This is the town of Greenmill. Now where does Lucy's cousin Sarah live?

If you fail:
Detective: Huh. I can't seem to find the right house. Strange...
If you win:
Detective: Doesn't look like the farmhouse Lucy described, bot the neighbors are convinced I can find Sarah in here.
Detective: Hi there. I heard you had some problems with a thug trying to scare you of your land, right?
Sarah Gordon: You're the tough gumshoe Lucy's been talking about, huh? Well, I'm afraid you're too late. They managed to force me out of my farm. We grew up with Lucy there!
Detective: Don't worry, I still may be able to fix this. I just need some details.Detective: Doesn't look like the farmhouse Lucy described, bot the neighbors are convinced I can find Sarah in here.

Sarah Gordon: So this is how it went. He came here dressed well for a thug, but as soon as he started waving papers I knew who he was all right!
Sarah Gordon: He said the land is polluted, the food won't pass a quality inspection and thus can't compete with their superior products. But I know it's all a lie. My crops are fine!
Detective: That doesn't sound like an ordinary criminal. If you describe him to me, maybe I'll be able to track him down.

If you fail:
Detective: Identifying the thug is harder than I thought. What should I do now?
If you win:
Detective: Lucy? I'm calling from Greenmill. You need to check someone for me in the police file. A guy named Song Byung-hun.
Lucy Gordon: Hmmm. Song Byung-hun... employed by the Mysaint agribusiness corporation. There were several lawsuits against him, but none of the charges stuck.
Detective: OK. Just find me the address of Mysaint's HQ, and I'll meet you there.
Crime scene search: Big Cheese[]
Lucy Gordon: THe Mysaint's headquarters, like you wanted. What are we doing here?
Detective: We need to sneak in before someone notices and find out their operations in Greenmill.
Lucy Gordon: We're breaking into corporate headquarters? That's both illegal and risky!
Detective: Look, if you want to help Sarah get her farmhouse back, we'll just have to do it my way.
If you fail:
Detective: Oh darn, I can't seem to find anything useful...
Lucy Gordon: Somebody's coming! We need to get out, fast!
If you win:
Detective: A-ha! Blueprints of a processing plant. Commissioned to be built in Greenmill. That's why they need the farmland.
Lucy Gordon: What's this? They're planning to ptoduce cheap junk food and sell it as organic chow!
Detective: With this information, Sarah can bring down Mysaint's operations in Greenhill[sic]!
Finale[]
If you fail:
Detective: Sorry, Lucy, but this case isn't for me. I'm a typical city slicker, not a farm boy. I won't be able to help you with this one.
Lucy Gordon: Darn it! I guess they're on their own, then. At least they're tough people. They'll endure.
If you win:
Lucy Gordon: I just talked on the phone with Sarah. She gathered all the farmers and went to the press with your findings. Knowing my cousin, Mysaint doesn't stand a chance. She'll give them hell!
Detective: It's something you Gordon girls have in common!
Trivia[]
Even if playing as a female detective, if the case is failed, she'll still say " not a farm boy".
